…in, fell head-over-heels for current trends…
…and bought myself a pair of flatforms.
I swore I wasn’t going to this Spring. I hated flatforms when I first saw them…and was sure I’d never come around to the idea of them.
But these ones from GoJane.com are just so pretty. And Springy. And at a mere $15.95, I couldn’t resist.
Now if only it would stop snowing (!) here in Portland and I could take them out on a Spring frolic…
If you’re interested in them, you can snag them here:

(they have black with silver glitter too!)

P.S. I should be back to more regular posting Sunday…after my Maya final tomorrow and then a Fri/Sat all-day seminar class!
~If you know someone looking for affordable flatforms, share this post with them!~
I apparently have no willpower!! Bought a black pair-but may need this color too!!
😉 Aaaah, what I have I done???! $16 is a pretty hard price to beat…and I love the sparkles and how “fun” they are! I’m a little tired of super high heels anyway. (This is how I rationalize these things….;-)
I think I would love this shoes more if it is color black…But this looks really fabulous too…
MaDhares recently posted…How To Control Anxiety
I bought an almost identical pair from Forever 21 last fall–they have yet to be worn because I’m at a loss for how to style them! I’ve been considering peeling off the glitter and replacing it with a neutral fabric or some braided raffia for an espadrille-ish look…but maybe I’ll wait to see how you wear them and get some inspiration 😉
Oh really? That’s so funny! These might even be made by exactly the same company…a lot of shoes I’ve seen on GoJane.com I saw on Forever 21 weeks, or months, prior…I’m not sure who is knocking off whom or if they’re just buying from the same manufacturer…. I totally agree that if the flatform base were a more neutral color they might be easier to pair with everyday items. They do look totally dressy because of the glitter. Today was warm and the snow melted so maybe I’ll be able to break them out and wear them soon! (Here’s hoping…)
Great choice Carly, these are SUPER cute!!

Not to my taste 🙁 The sole purpose of platforms are to facilitate a higher heel. (read: Balenciaga harness boot) I loved your Christian Louboutin spiked heel tutorial too.
