Funnily enough, every day I actually am pretty dressed up since I have to work in the mornings at Studio 3. Yet because of the early start to drop Lil Tot off at school, and the late time I get back home, it’s near-impossible to take photos in the quickening darkness. I have to devise some way to take outfit photos more regularly. In the meantime, I’m afraid I’ll have to make do with outfit photos once in a rare while when I finish early and can get home fast enough to snap some pictures.
LOVE this Forever 21 coat – LOVE the massive branding overhaul they’ve done on their site (have you seen it??). This coat is part of their new outerwear collection, all of which is far more polished and well-made than anything I’ve seen before from the brand. If you have a chance, pop by your nearest Forever 21 store to just feel the difference and the quality.
Free Endearment contacted me about reviewing one of their bags – and I jumped at the chance. Designed by Jaclyn Morse, the latest Signature Collection features seven handbag styles ranging from functional totes to convertible clutches, and retails for between $130-$405 per piece.
A couple images from their latest line sheet:
Left: Deniece, $375. Right: Jessica, $405.
Left: Priss, $130. Right: Kristel, $297.
Left: Luanne, $145. Right: Drew, $395.
Left: Ellie, $38. Right: Dana, $375.
The bag they sent me (the Kristel, available here) has this useful dip in the top (a great design detail, IMHO), perfect for tucking right under the arm. It features a removable chain with shoulder protector, and the stripes are a chic blue-gray (one of my favorite colors – as evidenced by my choice of Fitbit! ;-). The cream-and-blue combo goes with a variety of outfits and prints, and doesn’t really read preppy if you match it with other patterns and styles (if you’re not really a preppy person like myself).
Just had to include a shot there of my dog Pudding the Shih Apso showing her butt to the camera. Happy Tuesday, friends!
