Inspired by my playing around yesterday with the Pantone Colors for Spring 2014, I put together my outfit today based on my three favorites: Hemlock [Pantone 15-6114], Placid Blue [Pantone 15-3920], and Radiant Orchid [Pantone 18-3224] (the Color of the Year for 2014!) I found this mirrored-flower print skirt at Target in the clearance section awhile back, and promptly snapped it up. Given how on-trend its pattern and colors are for the season, I’m so glad I did!
Of course I couldn’t resist playing off the pops of seafoam green AKA Hemlock with my favorite ombre cone heels from Spiral Girl. A chance find a few years ago at the Spiral Girl boutique at Ala Moana Shopping Center in Honolulu, I had been thrilled to find one of my favorite Japanese brands had expanded to open a shop in Hawaii. I wasn’t looking for a pair of shoes at the time. But they were gorgeous, my size, and a mere $28 on sale…which was RIDICULOUS…and I had to have them. And never regretted them since. They are a little clompy to walk in, though.
I also had to add my DIY 80’s-style Triangle Earrings to further the green theme, plus add some over-the-top bling to the outfit.
Clorox recelt sent me this delightful cardigan from J. Crew – it is the most sumptuous violet color and so baby-soft! I’ve never owned something this color, but I feel so feminine and pretty wearing it. I figured it went perfectly with this crazy mirror-print skirt – and it’s super-sexy and clingy, so therefore rounded out my naughty secretary ensemble.
Went scouting today for a location for an upcoming video shoot – it’s a huge project I’ve been working to bring to fruition and can’t wait to share with all of you!
Hope everyone’s having a great week!
