My brother-in-law visited over the weekend and so we took him out to a fancy dinner.
I wore my new Scuba Dress, courtesy of London Times, and accessorized with my new DIY Metallic Envelope Clutch.
It’s pretty slim and built on a plastic file folder, so you can’t really put bulky items into it. But it does work for small, thin items. Next I’m going to try the stainless steel-look shelf liner paper over a store-bought envelope clutch to see how that looks!
Cristina Rose from my newest sponsor 80/20 Neckwear sent me this beautiful package from her Etsy store! I love the hand-stamped detail on the jewelry box, and pretty twine ties.
Inside was her Uncut Crystal Quartz Necklace. I love the little details on it, like the tiny gold beads, the oxidized chain, and the fact that you can bend the wire in the center to arrange the crystals how you like!
Its rustic, organic nature means that the necklace can be dressed up like here, or worn in a very casual outfit. I’m rocking it today over a striped tee, dark jeans, and a printed cardigan for a more bohemian feel.
If you’re interested in this necklace (or any other items in the 80/30 shop!), Cristina Rose has also offered this discount code:

you look AMAZING in that dress!!!
Thank you, Rachel, that’s so sweet of you!:-)
Gah! You’re so lovely! And as I’ve been gracing (okay, maybe creeping a little) your outfit archive, I’ve realized what my own outfit statements have been missing: /statement!/ I’ve been staying safe, compiling cute but expected outfits. You’ve really inspired me to take leaps, to honestly express a fashion that’ll leave intrigued and piqued thoughts in my wake! I digress; thank you so much for all your lovely work! I’ve just started up a little fashion blog, and with a grand total 2 posts, I’ll certainly be adding more! 😉 Have a lovely night!

Oh, goodness gracious Leandra! You are so sweet to write the above 🙂 Definitely play with fashion as much as you can – you only live once after all…and I may get it wrong more often that I get it right, but I always have fun with it 😉 Thanks for the link to your blog – I checked it out and you’re off to a great start! Keep posting, and before you know it you’ll have a ton of posts and your own unique style statement!
