On Saturday I attended an in-store event for the Anne Klein Leo Legacy dress at my local Macy’s. Hosted by an extremely stylish Marie Claire integrated marketing manager, the event showcased the versatility of the Leo Legacy dress as a staple of your Fall workwear.
Love the combo of colors with dresses, tights, and shoes for Fall!
Bubbly.
A DJ in the middle of Macy’s was a bit amusing.
I love how her Rebecca Minkoff heels don’t really match but look so amazing with the Leo Legacy dress anyway.
The Leo Legacy dress in its different colorways.
Mushroom foccacia toasts.
Mini carrot cakes.
Anne Klein clothing consists of chic office workwear at an affordable pricepoint.
I tried on the Leo Legacy dress in a purple leopard print and found the fabric to be lightweight enough to cling in the right places, but drape everywhere else. It felt high-quality and I love the belt as an accent with it; the center placket is wider than your usual shirt dress so it doesn’t pucker as much between the buttons and accidentally give people a glimpse of your undies. It is a little lightweight for Fall though, and I’d recommend a slip underneath, layering with a camisole, or some warm tights.
If you’re interested in trying on the Leo Legacy dress yourself, you can find the line at your local Macy’s. You can also purchase it here online (and if you sign up for emails from AnneKlein.com, you get a coupon for $20 off your next $100 order!)

I was surprised to see a cannon.
Attached to the opposite grip.
I can not find the Cannon like this in Japan.
However, I was looking at the mirror trick.
Haha, yes, I shoot with a Canon 40D, using a number of different lenses. It isn’t really personal preference, it’s just the camera my husband bought about 5 or so years ago from Amazon.com. It’s a pretty old camera. We also bought a “battery grip” (バッテリー・グリップ) attachment so we can hold it from the side (it’s on the right side of the camera, which looks like the opposite side in the mirror).
Cute! I love the Anne Klein lion. The dress looks great!
