Oui! Would this trend just go away? On Sunday I was at the mall and I was assulted with spiked all over the place. People had them on their purse, shoes, jackets, headbands, etc. I felt like I was at a Kiss concert!

I enjoy some metal embellishments–but those look as tho my ankles would be shredded with any mis-step! ouch!
I like the contrast of the edgy metal with pinks, etc.
I planned to buy these shoes last year (Sept 2010) for my birthday when they only had black and grey.
haha love these!! killer for sure

These have so many spikes, they look more like blowfish than shoes. :laughs: I think that spikes are one of those kind of embellishments best worn by people that have the right personality for it, but the sort of people who fit that would probably be wearing them all the time and not paying attention to changes in trends. So if you are a spikes kind of person, who cares? 😀
