When one thinks of the amazing vintage shopping destinations Portland has to offer, Yo! Vintage is usually right at the top of the list. With a mix of vintage pieces and new accessories (such as Seaecho, Hazel Cox Jewelry, Seaworthy, and Made on the Moon), the store is a treasure trove of unique finds. Owner Sarah Radcliffe curates a collection of lustworthy, tactile pieces that, though from yesteryear, would still look fabulous in the modern girl’s wardrobe.
From the Yo! Vintage website:
Yo Vintage! owner Sarah Radcliffe sources one-of-a-kind vintage pieces from across the globe, gathering inspiration from street style, the runway, and her mates.
Before relocating from London to Portland in 2009, Sarah employed her keen eye for fashion as a trend researcher and vintage buyer in the UK. Sarah now spends her spare time freelance styling and adventuring with her husband Charlie and dog Agnes.
Yo’s downtown Portland flagship store opened its doors in 2012 and has quickly become the go-to destination for vintage lovers.

Originating in the Pacific Northwest, Sticks & Stones was founded on the principle that re-purposed natural materials could be utilized in the construction of sustainable jewelry and accessories. Using materials such as reclaimed exotic wood, elk antler sheds, prehistoric ivories, fine metals, seashells, and gemstones, the in-house manufacturing team uses an intricate process of technology and skilled craftsmanship to produce these limited-edition and often one-of-a-kind pieces.
The construction of Sticks & Stones Accessories is done in various stages, including preparation, sanding, and dipping in a custom oil blend. The oil not only cures and protects the wood but also enhances the luster of the wood used. The strength and durability of these products are a testament to the quality of the
material and craftsmanship that is invested in each piece. Completely handcrafted in Portland, OR, pieces from Sticks & Stones have been featured in Lucky Magazine, Nylon, WWD, and Marie Claire, as well as DailyCandy and TrendHunter. Check out their latest collection below and leave your thoughts in the comments!

Welcome to the latest installment of One Piece, Three Girls – where I feature a single article of clothing, jewelry, or an accessory from a local boutique, styled into 3 different looks for 3 different ladies. (See my feature with Portland’s Mabel & Zora boutique here!)
For this post, I had the opportunity to work with Flutter in the North Mississippi district of Portland. If you’ve never been to Flutter, you really must go next time you’re in town – because it is a treasure trove of amazing vintage, handmade pieces, eclectic ephemera, candles, papers, ribbons, books, masks, succulents, soaps, and home decor oh my!
They operate their website on Flutterclutter.com and it is indeed a clutter….of spectacular finds! (more…)

Houseline, by Portland Garment Factory, is manufactured on-site in Portland Oregon. The brainchild of Britt Howard and Rosemary Robinson, Portland Garment Factory was founded to fulfill that unique niche in the local economy: a full-service clothing manufacturing facility (of which Portland only has a bare few). (I actually interned for 3 months at Portland Garment Factory not long after I arrived in Portland!) After manufacturing other local lines for awhile, Robinson and Howard branched out to design and create their own brand Houseline in 2011. For the upcoming A/W 2013 season, the line has grown to include outerwear as well as their staple easy-to-wear loose dresses, jumpsuits, palazzo pants, and even accessories.
