Carly, I saw an ad in the latest Vogue, absolutely LOVED the top worn by the model and have finally located it in a catalog. It looks elegant even though it is a casual material and I was wondering if it would be terribly difficult to DIY- http://uk.burbe
http://us.burberry.com/shop/index.jsp?categoryId=3965371 maybe that one will get you there; its the image for their prorsum line I guess, she in the intriguing, almost looks like jersey knotted top and silky knotted skirt with an open trench and a 'too young looking not to be carded if I even dared' guy in a white trench. 😉
THATS IT! Doesnt it look like it could be worn jazzy or casual and the nature of the knot, though not visible, would seem to make it flattering in different ways – able to hide a bit here, accentuate a bit there…What do you think Carly? Ive seen other knotted front tops, but they carry the knot more as an accessory, this one IS the knot. So glad you found it!!
Ah but that means he might might have slightly less of a jail-bait-on-a-stick flavor to him…glad to know my prurient interests remain within legal parameters (if even just barely).
Really? I guess I got the people in the ad mixed up, sorry. From Burberry's PR release:
Emma Watson: Burberry Spring/Summer 2010 Campaign!
Emma Watson rocks a gorgeous lilac trenchcoat while posing with model Max Hurd for Burberry’s Spring/Summer 2010 collection.
The 19-year-old British actress was captured by celebrated photographer Mario Testino on a London set with the label’s creative director Christopher Bailey on hand. Also pictured: Max Hurd, musicians George Craig and Matt Gilmour, as well as Emma’s younger brother Alex.
Sorry – I can't tell one pretty kid from another, LOL! xoxox Carly
