Um okay i get you put a lot of work into it and well done but you sound slightly arrogant as if you're shocked by your outcome. I'm sure the others worked hard too? Be thankful for being able to even participate in the competition! You're awesome 🙂 xx
I'm an art student so I constantly get critiqued, (we seek people out to tell us we suck). I know it can be hard, but it can be good for you to internalize the criticisms to make yourself better. Every girl's style looked true to themselves. Especially the girl who ranked last with the I-don't-give-a-f***-I-hate-pink attitude. People liked certain outfits better. It's as simple as that. You find really creative ways to DIY. Too bad this wasn't a DIY competition or you'd probably win. And though you may be the oldest, you are so not lacking in the looks department. Cheer up. You still got all these cloths and nice photos out of the whole experience. 🙂
Awww. Well, failure will soon turn into success! I certainly don't think that you suck. Otherwise I wouldn't even carry on reading your blog. Perhaps you should encourage your readers to speak up more on what they like/don't like. (:
Let me just say that after I saw the first week of the contest you are the only blogger of them all who I decided to follow – to see what you wore each week – and will continue to read your blog afterward – so you've won in my books!
Really – esp. with this recap – I loved EACH AND EVERY ONE of your outfits. Don't get down on yourself. Fashion is so objective , and I think you rocked it – and more importantly – YOU think you rocked it!

Kudos to you for putting yourself out there. Once we do that we are always open to criticism and that is the thing that is hard. Especially when it is so public. I follow your blog everyday and it is a spark of inspiration in my life, especially since you are not just a young single girl but a mom juggling many things. You are talented and inspiring. xxxxx

Okay seriously – dont doubt yourself!!i think you have amazing style made all the better for the DIY elemnts you put into it and you showed so much depth and creativity over the other bloggers in this competition. Although everyone was great, and incredibly stylish, you've been my fave right from the start BECAUSE you weren't the conventional little girl with all this time on her hands for fashion. CHIN UP! you did awesome carly.xx
