So I feel completely shamefaced to say that I neglected to share my last video project with you guys!
I founded the video and media production companyUncommon Era in April, and have been working here and there producing fashionably awesome online videos, commercials, promotional videos, corporate videos, animations, and crowdfunding videos for a variety of clients.
The latest one we produced for Coveroo: this really neat interchangeable phone/tech cases company that does custom-printing on just about any surface imaginable. (And, incidentally, good friends with Modify Watches, our very first video production client ever!)
Coveroo wanted a video that showed the versatility of the Coveroo cases and appealed to a young, fashion-oriented audience: something fun, youthful, and beautiful.
So, did we do it? What do you think of the video? (Now featured on Coveroo’s website.)
Thanks so much to the Coveroo team, who were just awesome to work with. I’m so glad we were able to make it even more awesome together!

If you’re a brand or small business looking to get your fun, fashionable story out there on your website, YouTube, or any other online channel – reach out to us so we can craft your awesome together. We only need YOU to make it happen.
I apologize for my absence from posting (a lot of things have been going on lately), but I wanted to share with you this video that we just produced for the Portland-based bicycle company, Circa Cycles.
Check out the video above – and then see how they’re doing with their Crowd Supply funding campaign (which still has 38 days to go). I have my fingers crossed that they will be fully funded by campaign’s close!
Hello friends! Today I’d love to walk you through all the fashion and cool watches we featured in my recent Show Your Colors Modify Watches x Chic Steals Promotional Video. Some people have asked me: “Which Mod is she wearing?” or “Where did you get that dress?” so I’d love to do a look-by-look breakdown with links where to buy everything. This post may get a little long, but here goes!
**All Modify watches that we used were the “Mini” sizes!!
To let you guys in on a little secret: There were actually 10 outfits we had planned to shoot for this video. On the shoot date, we were losing light quickly and had to cut 1 (a Nautical look) in order to get some of the more important ones in before the light changed too dramatically. In the edit, we also removed another 1 (Yoga Outfit) because we felt it didn’t add anything to the piece. So we ended up with 8 outfits, all seen above.
Plus, Modify is doing a Kickstarter right now where you can order a watch with your own custom face (above discount code not applicable). You can get EXACTLY what you want on the face – which sounds pretty cool!
Hi all! I am so ecstatic to announce that our promotional video for Modify Watches is now LIVE on Chic Steals’ official Youtube channel (if you’re not a subscriber, please subscribe – I’d love to see you there and there are many more videos coming soon)! Check it out above, and let me know what you think – any feedback is welcome 🙂
Also, it took a team of talented, dedicated professionals to bring this to life. We would LOVE it and be so grateful if you could help by sharing as far and wide as possible. Click, watch, like, thumbs-up, share – anything will help get the word out and bring recognition to those who spent their time and skills working on this.
Thank you so much to Modify Watches, the awesome production team I worked with, and you, my readers, for being a part of this!
As I posted on Facebook earlier today, yesterday we wrapped a full day’s shoot for this amazing promotional video project I’ve been working on. Since mid-December it’s been in pre-production, all in order to showcase this fun and FABULOUS watch brand to a fashion-loving audience. I can’t WAIT to share the finished product with all of you! Yesterday was like clockwork: we had the best crew ever (we’re talking serious film credits here), the GORGEOUS and talented Meredith Adelaide as our actress, a beautiful location just on the edge of the Pearl District, and our Production Designer who whipped a blank slate into a fully-furnished room in just over an hour.
