Yet another of the projects I submitted for Style Sample Magazine and New York Design Shop’s Create Couture Challenge.
You Need:
*Rust Suedette Fringe
*Mocha Suedette Fringe
Additional Tools/Materials:
*double-chain necklace
*hand-sewing needle
*matching thread
*scissors
How to:
1. Start on bottom chain of necklace. Stitch chain links onto top of Suedette Fringe (I stitched through every other link).
2. Cut fringe once you’ve reached the end of the chain.
3. Repeat for the lighter-colored fringe and the top chain.
4. If desired, trim edges of fringe so they hang better whilst wearing.
Sometimes the best thing about DIY is the fringe benefits! 😉

**This was actually the project that the person who won the random commenter drawing commented on, saying she loved it! (I know that sentence doesn’t seem to make sense, but my brain is feeling muddled right now:-) So I sent this fringed necklace to the winner – and I hope she likes it! Congrats, Monica!

This necklace is gorgeous on! I'm soo happy with it! As soon as I can I will be posting pictures of myself in it on my own Blog. (I have been sick this past week thus a little camera shy)

This is really gorgeous! Hope you get to make one for yourself, because it suits you…
Just found your blog and it's wonderful… Thanks for the inspiration!
This is so fun and easy! I can see it really spicing up a plain white tee or being a great layering piece. Congrats on your win again with NYDS!
Great tutorial! I always enjoy seeing the varied designs creative individuals come up with using the same materials. I will link in a future blog post. Pearl
Wow…… true Indian Wedding Jewelry completes the beauty of a bride. I was looking for Wedding jewelry online and came across the site http://www.kaneesha.com and purchased an exclusive set. It just added a special touch to my bridal wear.
Thanks Monica! I am so glad you like it and can't wait to see it on you! Please send me photos once you've posted…:-)
