I’m not sure what’s more shocking about these necklaces…
The sheer amount of stuff on them…
The fact that there’s been more than one made of each type…
The price tag…
Or that the $564 is almost entirely sold out.
Hmm…maybe I’ll do a DIY? I have no clue where I’d wear it tho…

oh these are fabulous, even if they are quite a bit to be wearing around the neck. for a diy it would be nice to do a cluster on a chain to make it more wearable for everyday.

Those are adorable, but shockingly pricey. Of course now I have to check out the doll house section of the local toy store to see how much it will cost to make my own. How much will 50 miniature tea sets cost, I wonder…?
I was looking at these just yesterday and my heart near exploded at the price tags. They are rather wonderful though and I feel a DIY may be needed too. Don't know where I'd get the millions of china teacups but this site (http://www.acharmingplace.com/store/home.php) has some very nice charms and I'm dying to have an excuse to order bucket-loads.

While all the little details are amazing and would make for a great conversation piece maybe to party or special event, they are a little too over the top and they also look like they would be uncomfortable to wear.
I can't think of any occasion I would wear it even if I could afford it; however, it could be an excellent inspiration piece to make something a little more sedate. I don't know where to find little teacups either, but perhaps they could be made out of polymer clay like Fimo or Sculpey.
I love the concept, but I agree that the ones shown here are a bit much for everyday wear or even any occasion. The second one looks like something you'd pull out of a little girl's dress-up box when all of the necklaces have become tangled together…
Emily made a comment about using the concept and putting a cluster on a chain. I love this idea, and I think it would be easy to make a DIY version with some matching teacup earrings! I'll have to try this when I get back from London! 🙂
Omg they are both fabulous, but I am loving the one with the floral undertone
ohmygod, hahahaha. almost completely sold out! I say DIY.
You could probably buy mini tea sets in bulk online somewhere. I could see that one worn with a nice springy cocktail or tea dress to some fancy outdoor thing (outdoor wedding? fancy garden party?) The chain one I think might be more wearable with other things. I'd make a version with less stuff on it and dress it up or dress it down.
These are insane! I kinda love them, but then again I kind of wonder how many small chinese fingers put these together! Sorry Disney…I had to go there. Other than that I love them. I think you must schedule a tea party for yourself in order to put these puppies on display.
